In ballet instruction, a variation (sometimes referred to as a pas seul, meaning to dance alone) is a solo dance. During our dance classes, particularly in a classical grand pas de deux, the ballerina and danseur each perform a variation as part of the class schedule.

Purple Tutu offers ballet instruction specifically designed for children with Down's Syndrome. As the first franchise of this Charleston-based program, Shellshead provides a unique opportunity within its dance classes and class schedule.
